Pantry stocking

Going completely GFCF has led to exploring new recipes which has led to trying out new ingredients and products.  The pantry is starting to fill with these exotics and I thought I'd share some of them with you.  (I'll let you know how they fare as they get used.)

MimicCreme.  (love the name :-)

I was just talking to one of the kids about croutons.  Total impulse buy, pretty certain homemade will taste better.

This was a warm spicy light in the dark before we got going on our homemade cake baking.  GFCF Kid loved this cake from his very first bite which meant the world to us at the time.  A nostalgia buy.

Teff flour = injera!

Millet flour.

Masa harina = tortillas!

For a day when Red Sox Daddy is not available to make his rocking French bread and the kids really want it and I have just enough energy to rip open a box.

Non-dairy milk powder...who knew?

Montina flour from online kindred spirit Lisa.

There's more coming.  This morning I placed an order with Authentic Foods for Superfine brown rice, white rice and sweet rice flours.  Thrumming with excited joy for yummies to come.
