Coconut yogurt

Yogurt is on Vinny's cringe list which is noteworthy because there isn't much in this world that makes him cringe.

I've never been fanatic about yogurt other than to feel that if I, or my kids, were to have some then I wanted it to be full fat organic cow's milk yogurt.  But, of course, GFCF Kid can't have that, and so he eats soy yogurt.  And then The Omnivore developed a taste for soy yogurt and much prefers it to cow's milk yogurt.

I do have concerns about the over consumption of soy, but since they don't drink soy milk, trying to wean them of soy yogurt has been low on my priorities.

I bought this coconut yogurt to use in the garlicky chickpea dip.  This afternoon, The Omnivore and I went to town on the almond-poppy crackers.  I was eating the dip and he wanted to dip his crackers in something, but the dip didn't appeal to him.  He said he wanted something creamy and decided to try the coconut yogurt.  He loved it.

They're eating less yogurt anyway, because of Vinny's chagrin, but I'm kind of happy that there may be a shift from soy to coconut yogurt in the kids' futures.
