Hijiki

Hijiki rocks.  I can't believe it's been so long since I made some!  (The date on the sesame oil clued me in.)

You can find the recipe here.  It's from a book called 3 Bowls: Vegetarian Recipes From An American Zen Buddhist Monastery.  I like this cookbook a lot.  My mom gave it to me years and years ago.

I noticed that seaweed was on the Dragon's Way healing foods list so I decided to make some hijiki to help me along this week.

I subbed coconut aminos for the soy sauce which makes this version soy-free.

Yum.
